Maud (Materials Analysis Using Diffraction) is a Rietveld extended program to perform the combined analysis. It can be used to fit diffraction, fluorescence and reflectivity data using X-ray, neutron, TOF or electrons.

Installing and using Maud

Maud expects to write some files into its installation directory, a central installation is therefore not possible. Just fetch and extract the tarball from github, e.g. once

cd ~
wget -qO- https://github.com/luttero/maud/releases/download/v2.9997/Maud.tar.gz | tar xzf -

Ignore warnings like tar: Ignoring unknown extended header keyword ...

Run Maud with

~/Maud/Maud.sh
